Leave your comfort zone and study in another place away from distraction. I find it helpful to study away from my family, rent a small room instead, enroll in a law school, and take advantage of our law school library. 

Law school allows you to read law books and discover for yourself what your reading preferences are. Your senior law schoolmates may recommend books for law school based on their respective experiences with the types of professors they have encountered. But it is better to discover for yourself your book preferences. While it is true that investing in a law book is recommended as part of your preparation for the bar examinations and eventually to use it in your law practice, the same should not be too expensive. Don't buy books immediately. Just take advantage of your law school library so that you can really know whether that book is worth buying. 

I advise future law enrollees who have a limited budget but eagerly want to become lawyers to enroll in a law school that has a good collection of law books. Some law schools may be enticing for their lower tuition fees, but unfortunately, they don't have a good collection of law books.
