Umani ng libu-libong reactions sa social media ang barong outfit ng Grade 12 student na si Vinz Charles na kanyang sinuot sa kanilang Buwan ng Wika culminating program.

"Ang inspirasyon sa aking outfit ay actually wala po naisip ko lang po kasi I’ve never seen someone wear a cropped barong with a corset po so I decided to make it happen po. Mostly po ang nasa outfit ko po is nasa closet ko lang po nakuha, like the corset po, but 'yung barong ko po, I bought a plain barong sa mall and had it cropped sa seamstress and what’s funny pa talaga all of this are very last minut. Thank God we finish it on time," kuwento ni Vinz sa PSND.

Ayon pa sa kanya, passion niya ang fashion mula pa noon at natutulungan siya nito na maipahayag pa ang kanyang sarili.

"I was a feminine boy growing up po talaga and I was really into fashion because I watched a lot of Barbie movies, Winx club, and Bratz, kaya I think because of that it molded me into someone who fell in love with fashion, and when I got older I watched a lot of fashion shows on youtube, I always abang sa met gala every year and I really got hooked in the fashion industry, thus, which also made me discover drag race. Drag Race helped me discover more about myself and it also made me realize that I need to learn more about myself. In this way, I expressed myself more," saad ni Vinz.

Kasunod, nito, masaya raw siya sa natatanggap na pagmamahal at suporta.

"I felt very touched and flattered po because I never expected it to boom. Reading everyones love and support actually made me genuinely happy and it made me feel valued and appreciated for my creativity," wika niya.
